Kristina Osterman has been a principal consultant partner for Metal Strategies and is a specialized steel industry strategic marketing and market-research expert focusing on interview-based research on high value-added steel and steel products including energy pipe and tubing, alloy and stainless steels, and engineered bar. She has unique and extensive experience in conducting in-depth interviews in person and via telephone and onsite interviews.
Through her 20 years of experience, Ms. Osterman has conducted numerous in-depth steel market studies. Her previous positions within the steel industry include product management and marketing responsibilities at Industeel in France (ex Creusot-Loire Industries), a division of the Arcelor Steel Group and at Acier Solac in Montreal, Canada.
Ms. Osterman’s international background provides an excellent understanding of business cultures of many countries facilitating communication. Ms. Osterman is fluent in English, French, Swedish, Italian and Finnish, and has a working knowledge of German and Spanish. Ms. Osterman holds an MBA in International Business and Marketing.
